A True Texas Visit...

This past week the boys and I have been in Texas visiting my family! It is always good to be home, but this trip was fun because Easton is finally getting old enough to do some stuff when he is here! It was fun to get to watch my parents with him, and to see the excitement they have getting to do stuff with him!

We head back home tomorrow, but here are some pictures from our trip!

McCoy Boy!

Saturday Night I dragged my mom to a Black Light Color Run! IT was fun! Minus the fact that we didn't get home till after midnight from it!

We went to my friends ranch and the boys got to feed the cows! Easton loved feeding them, but didn't want to ride it! McCoy didn't really care! ;)

My Friend was so nice to saddle up her horses so the boys could ride them! Easton talked about it all night afterwards!

Easton got to drive Coopers car, but at first he just pushed the pedal and didn't use his hands to steer! We had to do some teaching! He won't be getting a car any time soon! ;)

My dad is preparing for a hunt so he goes on a hike every night and Easton went with him each night!

We got to meet up with some of my high school friends and their kiddos.. think we are out numbered these days!

We did a small bday party for McCoy while we were home and well you can tell he LOVED it! ;) NOT... he wanted to hold the candle while it was lit!

He was much better once he got to eat the cake!

Easton got his first BB gun! Just what he needs right?? Think Pop is a little ahead of himself! It will be staying at Pop's house for a while!

As always we had a great time and will miss Texas, but I am sure we will be back soon! ;) Next up Tahoe!!! Wahooo

McCoy is 11 months..

McCoy Boy is 11 months today and is about to be a big one year old. Time is flying over here! McCoy had a big month this month.. he learned to WALK! I would say he is up to walking 80% of the time. Once he gets tired at night he starts his crawling back up, but for the most part he can walk anywhere now!

Our little boy is starting to turn in to a toddler and at moments I see the baby him is going away! It makes me sad on some levels, but I really do love the next stage and all the fun that comes with it!

Here is to one more month till we have a one year old, and let's be honest till we are formula free..I am starting the transition to whole milk soon and I can't wait! ;)

11 month pictures did not go so well, all he wanted to do was to knock over my sign or get out of the chair and walk! He won't stay still so don't mind the hand in the face! :)

His walking can kinda look like a zombie as he walks around! Still learning the balance part too!

Happy Father's Day..

This man is loved and is so special to us! We feel blessed to have him in our life's and I love having him as my partner in this crazy ride of parenthood! He makes it all fun! He sure does love his boys! :)

Sweet Summer Time..

Summer is in full swing around here and we are loving exploring all the new "hot" spots around town! Only thing I am not loving is constantly lathering the kiddos in sunscreen and changing in/out of swim clothes and then cleaning towels every single day! It's so hot that you almost have to go to a place that has water to keep the kids cool, but it's only the second week of June and I am over the process of getting ready to swim or play at splash pads! :)

I think I will just get in the drawer to play! lol

And with all this fun, McCoy has some how learned to walk! :) He took his first step over memorial day and this video was last week. He is getting better and better and I would say walks 60% of the time places till he falls and the other 40% he just is lazy and crawls because he knows he can get there faster that way! So I think in a month and a half at his first birthday he will be cruising around just fine! McCoy also came out of now where and added "Mama" to his vocab! He is clearly the favorite child, being that it took Easton till he was 18 months to say "mama"! :)

Beach Time...

This past week my friend Kristin and I took our little boys to the beach and met our moms there! It was so nice to have a mother/daughter weekend with our sons! The mom's got the babies all to themselves so they loved that! We had a lot of fun, but like all vacations with kids, it is actually more work than vacation. ;) We had to keep three kids entertained along with making sure they got their naps, were fed, changed and clothed! That is work my friends, so thank goodness we finally got smart and got a baby sitter the last night so we could go out with out the boys! :)

The boys had a great time and I loved watching them play with their Grandma Maggie! I promise I won't disappoint with the amount of pictures I have for you! :)
