Christmas Party time..

This time last year, Drake and I were headed to his company Christmas and I was a complete mess. I had gotten a dress I could squeeze into, since I was 5 months pregnant and I was not wanting to buy a maternity dress yet. So I squeezed into the dress, and you know as well as I know that if you are squezzing into a dress, well then it really isn't going to look so good on!:) I went for it anyways, and then I remember snagging my tights when I was getting dressed, so Drake had to stop by the Walgreens on the way to the party so we could get a new pair. While trying to get the new pair of tights on in the car while driving to the party in the car, I ripped them since I was a FATTY then.. so we then had to make a second stop at the Safeway so I could try for the 3rd time to get some tights on.. ended up that they worked out however by this time I felt less than cute and did not have a super fun time feeling huge and wine less at the same time.

I am pretty sure I didn't post this story last year because I was so distraught about the whole night! This year I can laugh about it! :)

So last night was way more fun. We had a babysitter for Easton and well that in it's self is exciting!! We went to the party and had a great time with our drinks in hand! It was so nice to just be out and about without a kid and the great smelling perfume of "spit up" that I normally wear!!

I asked Santafor More Babysitters!

7 months old.. How did we get here..

My Mr.Man is 7  months old today, it doesn't even seem possible.. it was a year ago today to be exact that we found out we were having a boy. BOY did I not even realize what little guy I was going to have. He is so fun and so sweet and well he is defiantly a boy, always on the go and such a mess!!

As most of you know he has started crawling and he is now all over the place, so my days are a bit more crazy trying to keep up with him. I kid you not, he escapes at least 3 times while changing his diaper, he won't stop ever!! We had to take out his changing table since there was no way to keep him on his nice little changing pad. We are old school now and just change him on the floor!! :)

Here are some of my favorite moments from this month:

He just looks so cute in this car!! It is his friends Colton's car!!

Just passed out after a long day of playing!!

I think I will just get my own toys now mom!!

Yep Mom, I can stand in the bed now.. please lower it! :)

I know you don't want to see naked babies, but this is just one of the many times Easton escaped during diaper change time and he went straight to his favorite table. AHHHHHHHH I could kill him some times!!

Mom, I saw Chloe go through here, I don't get it, why can't I!!

I am hungry for some oatmeal, I will just get it myself mom!

Mom, Did you say we were having Salad tonight! I'll get it!!

This is Easton's go to spot.. he hangs out under the table all day!!

So as always I put Easton's 7th month tie on to take pictures and then put him in his chair.. however this month, was quite different. I forgot he could move, so he just chose to get out of the chair.. so the pictures are not as cute this month, it was a bit difficult!!
Thanks for the nice pose Easton!! haha

I don't think I am interested in taking pictures, I have other things to do mom!

Well it works!! Happy 7 months my man!
My friend Kristin had a little girl named Leila and we went to visit her!! I am pretty sure Easton will be a great big brother one day!!

She might be his girlfriend one day!!

He loved her and kept wanting to touch her!
Ok , so I know it was a long post, but as you can see it was a big month!! We have quite the little mess on our hands and we are loving every minute of it!

Santa Clause is coming to town..

This weekend Drake and I took Easton to see Santa. We went to Los Gatos where Santa comes to the Park and in this Park Santa also likes to see Doggies, so I am sure you can guess who also came along to tell Santa what was on her list this year.. yep.. Miss Chloe! ( I think Chloe asked for attention, since she no longer get as much as she used too.. poor girl! )

The line was an hour long.. ahhhh.. but we toughed it out and when I say this, I mean Easton napped through the line for the entire hour and woke up just in time to see Santa. It was a bit cold, but it was fun to see all the kiddos get excited and then cry when they got up to Santa.

Easton was lucky enough to see Santa twice this week too!! My friend Kelly invited us to her Christmas work party and Santa was there, so Easton got to see him them too.

Easton telling Santa what is on his list... and well not quite sure who this guy is!!

Now that Santa has promised to bring him new toys, he thinks this guy is pretty cool!

Love my family picture.. how do you get a dog and a baby to look at the camera at the same time!! ahhh

Easton pretty much thinks he is Santa's buddy!! Thanks Kelly for letting us come to the party!
Hope Santa brings everyone everything on this list this Christmas!!

Weekend with Grandma Maggie...

This weekend my mom was in town and we had a great time. We took Easton to Christmas in the Park in downtown San Jose. He really liked all the lights, but what caught his eye the most was the Ferris wheel that was spinning and had blinking lights! It was almost comical to try to get him to take his eyes of the Ferris wheel. Easton also got to ride the Merry Go Round for the first time, not sure what he thought about it! As we were leaving, we found a snow machine and Easton loved it the "bubble snow" as it would sprinkle out. We had a nice little night.

Saturday we got up, and went to the Los Gatos Christmas Parade. This was our first time, and I will say that it is quite the parade. 262 entries and Santa Clause to bring up the end of the parade. There were tons of people and the weather was great. I enjoyed watching it, along with watching Easton as he would light up anytime a band or music would come by, he really likes music.

After an eventful weekend and Easton deciding to Crawl, pull up to a stand and open drawers on his own all in one weekend, my mom and I baby proofed the house.

Here are some pictures from our weekend!!

Easton's shirt in this picture is Drake's from when he was a baby and the jeans are mine from when I was a baby! :) Also, Easton is thankful that Grandma Maggie bought him the new foam mat for his room, it helps him crawl and not fall on the wood floor.

I forgot that we went to the David Bruce winery on Friday, it was really fun and so pretty!

Grandma Maggie and Easton!

Easton's first ride on a Merry Go Round!

Easton and Grandma Maggie at Christmas in the park!

Let it snow!!!

Christmas Parade!!

The shark/dolphin ( what ever it is) came to say hi!!

Did I mention the parade is 2 1/2 hours long..
Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Grandma got ran over by " Easton" ...

Grandma Maggie is in town and once again Easton waited for Grandma Maggie to get here to show off his new moves. CRAWLING!!! Easton has been doing the nice model pose that looked like he knew how to crawl for about a month, but after a few weeks of doing the "worm dance" to get himself across a room, he decided that he would go for the real deal and just crawl like normal babies.

Here is a video for you:

Thanksgiving Week and Easton's Baptisim

We had a great week this past week down at Drake's moms house. We drove down to her house on Tuesday and played all week. I love hanging out with his family, they are so fun and there is always something going on. We had a great Thanksgiving at Joe's house on Thursday, where some 40 something adults and 20 kids I would guess had dinner. It was great! Friday we celebrated a birthday for Sara and Shea. Then Saturday Mr. Easton was baptized.

We made it back early this morning ( after much debate on when to leave, Drake decided on 5 in the morning and I hate to say he was right, but we didn't hit any traffic!! So yes he gets some points for that) Speaking of points, when we got home, Drake scored even more points for himself, he helped me put the Christmas lights up outside and then watched Easton so I could get my tree up! I am a happy girl right now!

I could go into so much detail about the weekend but, we would all be here all day, so instead enjoy some pictures!!

He was super happy that it was Thanksgiving!

I love this picture, he actually looks like a fat kid! :)

Family picture!!

Easton was as in to the 49er game as Drake was!!

I love watching Easton playing with all his cousins!

About to get baptized!

So neat to see all of these family members at Easton's baptism!! Thank you everyone for coming!

The gown Easton was baptized in, was the same gown that all of his cousins and I think aunts and uncles were baptized in as well! pretty cool!
