Super Dad...

This weekend Drake has been super dad! He was in charge of watching Easton Saturday Morning since I had a Junior League Event. He took Easton to the Jungle while I was there. Which is a big jungle of things to climb on and ball pits.. hints the name! Then that afternoon he took Easton to the zoo with me! I am pretty sure that any dad who goes to two crazy kid parks in one day, is crazy himself! :) I am so thankful that he did, by the end of the day, Easton was so tired he asked to get in bed and go night night!

Then Sunday, after church where Drake played with Easton on the playground for 30 minutes while I worked a table, he took Easton to the mall with me and then to the park! I think Drake is now in need of a nap himself!

We all loved having Drake home for a weekend! It has been so much fun, and we still have one more day! He has tomorrow off!

Easton brushing the goats... I was hogging the brushes..

Happy Boy riding the Cars...

Handsome boy all ready for Church!

He loves to Feed Chloe her treats..

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope that everyone has a great day! We are not doing much, but Easton did make sure to make Valentines for his friends at his Daycare, and with no surprise he picked Cars out! ( No lie.. ) However I am here to tell you if Elmo or Mickey had been an option, one of them would have won hands down!

XOXOXO!

Superbowl...

This past weekend Drake and I spent the weekend in NOLA. I hadn't actually been to NOLA since I was in a basketball tournament in middle school, so it was nice to go check it out as an adult. I loved the city, and it was so much fun eating my way through it! What else is a pregnant lady suppose to do in NOLA! :)

Most of you know I am kinda a picky eater and I normally don't order to many things "that are outside of the basic", but I decided to be adventurous and am so glad I did! I ate some of the best shrimp at Mr. B's and I even had to take the head off and all the other things, never have I ever worked so hard to eat a shrimp! Nor made the mess I made! :) I tried the gumbo, king cake, beniets (sp), and poboys! If I never eat a Cajun things again, I will be ok! ;)

Along with all my eating, I also was there for the Superbowl... just a small little game the NFL host every year! :) It still amazes me the money that the NFL puts into one 4 hour game, make that 4 1/2 game when the lights go out! There was not one detail left out, and everything was done to the nine. There was a NFL or 49er Logo just about on everything you could think of, there was a party for anything you needed to do and being at the team hotel there were more people than you can imagine coming out of the wood works trying to get in and see players! It was just an experience.

I loved every minute of it, till we lost! But even with a loss, I felt so blessed to experience the Superbowl as a fan of one of the two teams. It was so fun to be treated like someone special with chartered flights, police escorted buses, private buses to the game, passes to parties and a suite for the game. For one weekend, I forgot I am just a housewife and a stay at home mom! ;) It felt nice!

To top it off, Drake's mom was able to join us and it was so nice to have her with us. I know Drake loved having her there, and I loved having a buddy when Drake was busy!

Even though we loss, I feel that it is a weekend I will never forget, and most likely the last weekend I will have a  kid free weekend for quite some time! ( We owe a big thanks to my sister in law, Lisa, for taking Easton for 5 days. Yes, that is a long time, and a lot of my busy man! So we are grateful).

Not a bad way to start off the weekend.. our seats on the plane!

And we are off...

We made it...

More gifts in our room.. I could really get used to this!

My boy Colin, this was one wall in the hotel..

Welcome party...

At first I questioned the bibs for the shrimp, but boy was I glad I had it..

Float on the water...

Bourbon Street..

Drake and his mom outside the oldest bar in the US.

This is how you start off your day at breakfast..

CAA party, fun photo booth!

Game Day breakfast!

Hotel lobby waiting to get bussed over to the game!

View of the Superdone from the Biggest tailgate I have ever been too..

Concert at the tailgate..

Game time...

After party, snoop dog played.. we left before it got started really way to tired!

One faithful little boy, who is ready for next year! Loved seeing his sweet face when I got home!
All in all one successful weekend! However, I do not plan to be be pregnant at the next Superbowl, both Superbowl's my little ones have joined me in the womb, and boy do they wear me out on these trips! Lucky kiddos, lets see if they ever get to go not in the womb! :)

The start of Confessions..

So I am stealing this from another blog that I read, but this mom often blogs about the things that mom's often don't tell or say about parenting because with these confessions they might not be getting the " Mom or Wife of the Year award'. I have enjoyed reading them because 9 times out of 10 they sound just like my life! :)

So here are my January Confessions for you:

1) Easton has peed on my bath mat right outside the shower multiple times as he is getting in the shower for shower time and well I have done not one thing about it! I just leave it there knowing that he will pee on it again! Gross I know, but I don't want to wash the mat everyday!

2) Last month I was running low on "healthy" food for Easton and opted to give Easton Frito's since it is made of corn, and sure did count it as his vegetable for the night! And on that note, I don't always make sure he has a vegetable, this was just like the 5th night in a row that he had not had one! :)

3) I have only gotten dress 2 days since I have been back home from my parents. I have been home since last Tuesday! Workout clothes really are cute these days!

4) I am addicted to online shopping. Half the stores have my cc stored to their records, so I don't even have to get off the couch to get my cc. Free shipping doesn't make things better, I just keep clicking the purchase button! I spent all last weekend online, but it made me so happy this week when I kept getting packages on the front steps. The poor UPS man is wondering why I can't have them all delivered on the same day, so he can stop coming daily! And the poor bank is wondering where all the money is going.

5) I used my straightener today to iron my shirt! I was to lazy to get the whole iron and ironing board out. I am sure you know how well that turned out. I still wore the shirt!

6) Last week, I really needed a Starbucks. So I loaded up Easton and Chloe and we proceeded to drive past 4 Starbucks to get to the one with a drive thru, just because I am lazy!

So I might not be getting the Mom of the Year award this month, but hey who is perfect! Not me.. I don't think Easty Boy noticed my mishaps!

A lot going on around here...

For January we have a lot going on around our house. Exciting things so all smiles around here.

To start off, most people already know but we finally announced that we will be welcoming another bundle of joy this July! We are overly joyed and feeling blessed. As you can see below, Easton is just as excited as well. Actually to be truthful, he has no clue what is in store for him in about 6 months! ;)

The next big thing going on in our house is our BIG BOY is truly becoming a big boy. He is sleeping in a toddler bed. Kinda sorta, we took the side off the crib so he can get right out on his own. We put up the small side bar that is there to help him not fall out, but I have news for you, it doesn't work! Poor Easton feel out of the bed in the middle of the night, right on to the hard wood floor! He was pretty scared, and I guess I would be too if I feel off the bed in dead sleep on to any floor! He was a trooper and went right back to sleep! We thought this would be quite the process with Easton, because anyone who knows him, knows he isn't one to sit still or listen to directions to well. However we have been pleasantly surprised. He has been doing awesome, and we have no issues with naps or bedtime. So after we do this for a bit of time, he is going to get his real big boy bed and new bedding! No more nursery stuff for this man! :) Tears and Joy all at the same time.

Next big thing is that of course the NINERS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!! This has been such a fun time for my family. Drake is totally overworked and loving every minute of it. Things are a bit crazy, but all exciting. We leave next Thursday and can't wait to celebrate in NOLA next weekend. We hope that we are celebrating a big win, but either way I will say that I am very blessed to be along for the ride during this exciting time for the niners, and could not be more happy for my husband who has been in sports for a while, and this will be one of the most memorable moments of his career and I am so lucky that I am able to join in on the fun! Thank you Niners for making it all possible!

**** No picture for this one, remember I am superstitious and I can't wear or post any niners stuff or we might not win and I don't want to be to be blame for losing the superbowl! :) ****

Hope everyone is having a great January!

Go Niners Go...

We are cheering on the Niners today! Big game for our household!

Why no niners gear you ask???

Well when either Easton or I, wear Niners gear we lose, so we don't wear it anymore! ;)

We also don't watch the game the whole time, because again if we do, we lose! So Instead we check in every 30 mins or so! ;)

So let's hope our plan works for tomm, and we are going to the Superbowl! :) Daddy would be one happy man!

Randi's Bachelorette

While I was in Texas I also got to go to my sister's Bachelorette party. It was lots of fun and turned out perfect! She wasn't feeling to good on Sunday and Monday, so I am going to call the weekend a success! :)

We went to Ft. Worth for the weekend. We had a pole dancing party on Saturday, and I must say I was very nervous about this, but it is well worth going to! The lady that lead the party, made me laugh so hard! She was a hot mess!

Then Saturday Night we went to dinner and to Billy Bob's. Yes, that is right the party was in Texas, where else do you find a place called Billy Bob's! I had lots of fun, but planning can be stressful, so happy it all turned out good!

She is ready! :)
