Tahoe...

We spent the past week in Tahoe with the entire Drake family. It was a great trip as always. Easton got to meet the rest of the clan and don't worry I am going to quiz him on the names of all his 20 cousins. :)

The trip was different then the past years, only because when you have a 9 week old you can not just go out on the lake for the whole day and then play volleyball on the beach. Instead you still have to feed your child every 3 hours, Easton apparently did not get the memo that we were taking a "Vacation" and I was off duty! However, I will have to say he was a good boy, and it was nice to relax and play with the family.

2 months old..

The little man turned 2 months old today!! We are enjoying Easton more and more everyday, he is starting to smile and kinda laugh at us all the time. He is awake more, which I love, it means more time to play. Currently his favorite things are his activity mat and his baby Estein movie. He loves his swing but is kinda out on his bouncer. He moved to his big boy crib a few weeks ago, and is no longer in his bassinet. The baby Bjoin is a lifesaver for us come dinner time. So we are growing up so fast over here.

We officially feel like parents because you will now find us singing along to "Twinkle Twinkle little star" in the car. We play his little CD, which thankful makes him be quiet, however in return we don't get the newest hits, and Drake has had to trade in his Howard Stern, which I am thankful for. :)

Easton is making progress with lifting up his head and is just loving life. He had his first airplane ride, first pool time, first time to Texas and can't wait to meet all his cousins and aunts and uncles in Tahoe this week.

Happy 4th of July!!

Oh how I love the 4th of July. Fireworks are one of my favorite things, and this year was extra fun because I got to see Easton enjoy them. I know you might think I am crazy, but Easton really did like them. He watched the show and his eyes got really big when the big ones that feel like they are falling on you were shot! It was fun to see him enjoy them, and hopefully it will be one of his favorite holidays.

We went Saturday with some friends to see fireworks after we cooked some beer can chicken ( which was my first time and I loved it). Then today we went with some friends to a chili cook off and it was a lot of fun. Easton of course loved the chili! :) Kidding..

Where did June go???

Well I have been a bad blogger lately, but time is flying by and little Easton is keeping me busy! We have done a lot lately as well.. so here is what we have been up to.

FATHERS DAY

Drake had his first fathers day and it was a great day. Easton made him a gift too, well with a little help from mommy we were able to get mold of his hand print and his footprint for daddy. It turned out pretty cute. Drakes brother Donald and his family came down to our house for the day and we had a great picnic in the park together. We played baseball and ping pong at the house and just had a great day!

TRIP TO TEXAS

We just arrived home from our big tour of Texas last night. We had a great trip, but we are wiped out. Easton was able to meet pretty much everyone from Round Rock Friends, Grandparents and Aunts, Dallas Friends, College Friends, Teacher Friends and even some of Daddy's friends. We were super busy meeting everyone, but it was fun. Chloe even came too! :)

My mom's friends hosted a sip and see for Easton so everyone in Round Rock could come meet him at one time. It was great seeing long time friends and their parents. Then my Mama Bear and My Aunt Karol came to the house to meet Easton, so that was fun. Then my sister and I made a quick trip to Dallas to see everyone. Here are our pictures!!

Easton is 1 month old...

Yesterday, Easton turned 1 month. I think this might have been the fastest month of my life, but defiantly the best month of my life. I find it odd to say that it is the best of my life when I have actually had less sleep then ever before, more pain than I think I have ever encounter, seen more spit up and poop then I really ever wanted to see, and not to mention I smell like spit up at all times, and to top it off I thing I am mute to the sound of crying now.. but with all that to say, I have never been so in love not only with Easton but with my husband. It has been a crazy and fun month.

All that to say, Easton had his month check up this week and is an all-star! He is weighing in at 8lbs 14oz, and I always forget to listen to the length, I will check on that next time. Easton is a great baby for the most part, he has his moments, but as the doctor tells me, BABIES CRY! :)  Here are some pictures from the week and 1st month!

Grammy comes to visit..

This past weekend Drake's mom, aka Grammy, came to visit Mr. Easton. We had a great weekend. On Friday before she arrived Easton and I went to the park with some friends and he just loved laying out in the sun! Then we went to pick Grammy up, and he got to hang with her for a while. Saturday was beautiful so we headed up to a local winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains and enjoyed a little picnic at the winery. It was a nice treat and just beautiful out. After that Grammy babysit so Drake and I could go out to dinner. We went to the restaurant we were planning on going to the night I went into labor. It might be my favorite place I have been to here since we moved. If you are looking for a good dinner out, try Cin Cin in Los Gatos! :)

Sunday we walked around the corner to eat brunch at a cafe and again got to sit outside and it was so nice. I am not missing Texas humidity at all! :) Then to finish off the weekend we BBQ with our friends Kristin and Dustin and got a MAVS WIN!!!! Not to bad of a weekend if I do say so myself!

Another week in the Life of Easton..

Easton has attracted many visitors lately.. and it just so happens that they are all Ladies!! What am I going to do with this boy?!?


The lovely Riley Ladies came to visit! ( Aunt Lisa and Uncle Hubert came too.. I guess I didn't get a picture of them, sorry)




Miss Stella is not sure who this little guy is..!! We are so glad the Riley family spent Memorial Day with us!!




Aunt Randi made it finally!! He loves her!




Aunt Randi bought Easton his stroller, so she had to make sure she pushed him all around! :) We went walking!!

 This past week was another week of first..

- Easton lost his Umbilical cord finally.. I was more happy than he was, I hated cleaning that thing!
- Easton got his first bath
- Easton went back to the Doctor and he gained a pound!! ( I want to be baby where it is a good thing to gain weight! :)
- Easton had tummy time and Chloe felt the need to join!
- Easton went to his first movie!
