More Chritmas Fun!

I warned you that I would be as bad about Christmas/Santa stuff as I was about pumpkin patches, and well after you see what we have been up to, you might think I am crazy! Good news is, I am totally ok with you thinking that! :)

This week and weekend has been filled with many more Christmas Activities! I made a calendar for each day leading up to Christmas Day, and in this calendar we have a Holiday activity lined up for each day! :)

So here are the ones from this past week:

So I took the boys to this event called Town Brookhaven, where they did a Christmas tree lightening, got to see Santa for the second time and ride a horse and carriage! On the Horse and carriage ride, Easton looked up at me and with a big grin and said  "Momma, so fun" ! Melt my heart! ;)

Then the next day since I was a bit tired from my cookie exchange that I had been to the night before, we had a day at the house and we made Christmas Popcorn and watched a Christmas movie! We made a pallet on the floor and Easton thought it was so cool!

Then Friday night we went to look at Christmas Lights. Before we did that, we colored some polar express pictures, wrote a letter to Santa and then Easton got a ticket to go on the car ride to look at the lights. He was so cute with his ticket, he got it and immediately wanted to put it in his pocket so he wouldn't lose it! ( We might have watched the polar express movie to many times over here! ) He held on to that ticket like it was gold! Felt kinda bad because he thought he was going  on a train ride.. and really we were just riding in the car! I just thought the ticket was a cute idea! No worries, he is going on the real polar express when we get to Austin, so I will make up for it! :)

At the end of the Christmas lights, there was a Santa's village where you could roast marshmallows and make smores, and then there was a whole carnival! We didn't know it was going to be there, so that was a nice surprise, however I didn't even bother to get dress since I didn't think we were getting out of the car, so I kept my workout clothes on and McCoy was in his PJ's, so we were totally unprepared!

Then today, we had Breakfast with Santa! Yes, your reading that right, we have now seen Santa 3 times! ;) Why not!! Easton still runs up, and still tells him he would like a Buzz Lightyear! :) There was a cute breakfast and little crafts for them to do too!

Well that is it for this week! :) Hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday Season!

Lately...

Lately we have been doing all kinds of random things! Trying to learn about our new city, fit in some Christmas stuff and just relax now that we are feeling settled! Here are some pictures for you..

We went by the Coca Cola Building, while strolling Centennial park !

McCoy had food for the first time, and he was one happy boy!

Easton LOVES car, I can't get him to smile for any pictures, but this one was easy, because was so happy playing in the car!

Easton made this gingerbread man banner. He put all the stickers on, and strung it with just a little assistance! He actually did pretty good!

Just because!

I love that our new house has gas logs, so I was one happy girl Sunday night! :)

Playing at the children's museum!

Easton decorating his tree! :)

Easton baking Christmas cookies! He liked cutting them out, and then thought you should be able to eat them, no need to cook!

Grammy was in town! :) We loved spending time with her!

That is about all the randomness we have going on!:)

Some days just don't go as planned...

So I had been thinking of this really cute blog to do last night. I was going to do it today during nap time, and then I did a very bad thing while trying to do a good thing! :(  I decided to wash the sheets on our bed this morning, and well you might know where this is going... YES, I also washed my phone in the sheets . Whomp Whomp... there went my day of plans and my good blog, since the phone held all the pictures.

I hate that moment you realize you just did something so stupid, and you wish you could rewind 5 minutes. So since I could not possibly go an hour with out my phone, I mean all these new friends I have made here in Atlanta might be trying to get a hold of me! :) ... kidding.. I loaded up the boys, and we headed right over to Apple, totally messing up my plans for the day and my gym time! :( But who can go without a phone???

I sadly had to pay for a new one, so I guess it's an early Christmas present to me! ( not something I really wanted, since I just bought a new one 4 months ago)

Then I decided the day was going to be ok, and I was not going to let it bother me. So we go to the car, and I feed McCoy before we get going and Easton is playing in the car. When I go to get out of the car to put McCoy in his car seat, I find that I can not open or unlock the door! Mr. Easton has been playing with the keys I see, when I go to look back at him knowing he has to have something to do with this. And Yes, HE LOCKED US IN THE CAR!!! I mean who gets locked in their own car. So I finally figure out how to manually unlock it and then the alarm starts to go off, in which I know the only way to turn it off is to have the keys. Well, remember all the other doors are locked, so I have to CRAWL all the way to the back over the front seats in the middle of the parking lot at the mall, with McCoy now screaming at me to get the keys that Easton is so kindly keeping from me. Could I look more crazy in the mall parking lot???  I finally get to Easton and he says "No I do it" five hundred times to me.. AHHHH 2 year olds. So I get the alarm turned off, and then go out the side door, and THEN, I hear Easton saying " Mommy, you forgot your coffee" As I am coming around the other side I have to dart in, because he now has my full cup of coffee in the air. I am dying because if he spills that in the car, Drake will kill me and well lets be honest, he already wants to kill me because I just washed my phone in the washing machine! Long embarrassing story short, I saved the coffee before it got all over the car, and the man two cars over asked me if I needed any help! I am sure he watched the whole thing, because he left by saying, I have two older boys and it does get easier!

Now it's 5 and both boys are still sleeping and there is no way I am waking them up, and I just poured me a glass of wine!

Some days just don't go as planned! And unfortunately for you, you got this crazy story with no pictures today, instead of my cute blog story with Easton cooking cookies and making gingerbread banners all in pictures for your enjoyment! :)

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving! This year we have so much to be thankful for. What I am most thankful for today, is that my family of four is all together and settled in our new home. After 2 long months of craziness, we are very happy to have not a lot to do today, and some time to just hang out as a family!

Since I am thankful for my new home today, I thought it was time to show some pictures.. I am really in love with this place and it turned out just how I wanted! :)
