Fun Little Weekend...

This weekend has been wonderful! We are finally feeling 100% settled and we finally don't have Snow/Ice so we can actually get out and do stuff! It has been beautiful this weekend and we got out and about!

Here are some pictures from our weekend:

McCoy with his buddy Jackson

I just love how every night I get him ready to get in the bath and he crawls over to the tub and pulls up, and this is my cute little view.. babies butts are just too cute! :)

Playing outside on the porch Friday!

A little Starbucks Date with just Easton and I! :)

Jump Jump with the boys Saturday Afternoon!

Easton wanted to go down the slide with McCoy.. McCoy clearly liked it!

Gym Class with Jackson on Friday!

Picnic with my boys!

Such a pretty day!

Swim time after our picnic.. and well McCoy was just checking out the girls at the pool.. he thinks he is too cool!

Love these boys!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Enjoy your week!

We have a nearly 3 year old and I am not ready..

So I have heard that the 3's are worse than the 2's and well I am starting to believe it!

I recently read the following: 10 reasons while the 3's are worse than the 2's

1. At two, they can barely talk. At three, they never shut the hell up.
2. At two, they cry. At three, they throw temper tantrums so epic, you become convinced that they are possessed by the devil.
3. At two, they’re happy to eat anything you present to them. At three, they eat only three foods (usually consisting of a starch and processed cheese.)
4. At two, baths are a ten minute event, the result of which is a clean child. At three, baths take over an hour, and result in a drenched bathroom, sopping wet mommy and 16 used towels.
5. At two, they wear diapers that can be changed on your watch. At three, they’re potty trained and the world revolves around their bladders and bowels.
6. At two, they are distracted by a box of Gerber Puffs at the grocery store. At three, they want to dictate your entire food list.
7. At two, they let you dress them, looking innocent and adorable. At three, they insist on picking out their clothes, looking like pint sized versions of mental institution inhabitants.
8. At two, they don’t like to get dirty. At three, they thrive on it.
9. At two, you can do things for them, saving infinite amounts of time. At three, they must do everything by themselves, taking FOR-fucking-EVER.
10. At two, manipulation is the last thing on their minds. At three, they own you. And they know it.

So after shaking my head and agreeing with every single one of these, Easton only confirmed it by the following that happened just yesterday!

Morning:
E: I want juice
M: Ok
E: Repeats I want juice no less than 20 times and crams a bunch of other request in between each " I want juice" as if I hadn't heard him the first time
M: Ok, Easton here is your juice
E: NO ( screamed) I don't want juice

Getting Dress Time:
E: I don't like socks.. 5 mins later socks are on... I don't want pants... 5 mins later pants are on... I want to wear my Pajamas to school, I don't want a shirt..  5 mins later shirt is on.. We don't attempt shoes till he is buckled in the car, and I used to do his hair, but well that doesn't happen either!

Getting in the Car:
E:" I do it", for everything.. open door, climb in, buckle.. etc...10 mins later

After an hour of dealing with Easton, with stuff that should take 5 minutes, we are off and LATE to school.

- Lunch/Nap
E: I don't want the corn dog, fruit and chips.. ( he just asked for it all), I want sandwich.. PICKY PICKY PICKY these days..
E: I not take a nap, I not go to my room for quiet time.. OH YES YOU ARE BUDDY! :)

- At this point I have caved and he is getting some Ipad games in bed just for a moment so I can maybe get one thing done

Skip Dinner same as all the rest the meals, a battle

Bath:
E: I don't want to take a bath
I finally get him in and bath him
E: I don't want to get out, I play.. water is now splashed all over my bathroom and I am cleaning up with real towels, not just their hooded cute towels and don't forget he didn't even want to take the bath

Time for PJ's, but you guessed it..  he doesn't like them, the same ones he didn't want to take off this morning.

M: Fine Easton you can pick your own PJ's out.
E: Plays a guessing game that he thinks is funny about what drawer to pick from, at this point I am not playing the game.. and then finally picks out a pair of PJ's... the EXACT SAME ONES I HAD GOTTEN HIM OUT ORGINALLY! AHHHHH

The end.. I pass him off to Drake and I go have a class of wine!

McCoy Boy is 7months..

How we are here again, I have no idea. I feel like I just finished his 6 month scrapbook page, and now it's time to do it all over again.

McCoy is weighing in at 17 pounds and I forgot the length but still a big boy! He has two teeth with two more starting on the top, I think. He loves ALL food, and eats twice a day! He crawls everywhere, and well Easton is not liking it. McCoy just grabs stuff and has an unusually strong grip so when he gets a hold of something, he destroys it! McCoy loves all phones, computers, dog bowls of food and paper! All things he should not have! :)

He is also into standing and pulling up on everything, so I have to pay more attention then I am used to, since when he falls he hits his head! :(

McCoy is still his super sweet smiley self. There is no way to start a day off bad when you are greeted with his smile every morning when you go to get him from his crib. He is all smiles and ready to go in the morning. Love my Coy Boy!

Super Bowl Weekend..

So this past super bowl weekend was not quite like last year's super bowl weekend! :) How could we beat last year!

Drake was in New York for all the Super Bowl Fun, which he calls "work", so the boys and I had a little weekend by ourselves. The timing was not great considering I had been stuck in the house all week for the "1 inch of Snow Storm" we had. School ended up being canceled ALL week, so being at home all day with the boys and no husband was not ideal, but we made the best of it and had a great little weekend.

Here are some pictures and I even have a few video's for you:

McCoy is on the Move and perfected his crawl about 2 weeks ago. Now we have to deal with him grabbing Easton's toys and Easton freaking out every two seconds.

At times, Easton does love to play with McCoy! McCoy loves the swing!.. and yes after we shut down the city for snow, it was 60 and beautiful out and we headed to the park! :)

Easton eating with all his little friends. Lots of little boys! :)

They were ready for the Broncos!! To bad the Broncos weren't ready for the game!

I you look closely, McCoy has a Mohawk. He is slowly getting some hair!

Easton is working on learning how to ride his bike.. we did this inside while it was snowing! He still can't ride the bike!

Hope everyone has a great week! ;)
