Trick or Treating..

Halloween was pretty close to perfection this year. The day started with a nice pumpkin latte. Then at school my math team dressed up as super heroes and the students dressed up so it was fun to see their costumes each period. We had extra snacks in the lounge, and I by far had the best queso I have had in quite some time! This always makes a day great!

Then I ran over to Easton's little Halloween party at his daycare, which was so cute and fun! Then we went to pick Drake up, and we went to Los Gatos to go trick or treating, where I was amazed by the elaborate houses! Then we ran home to pass out candy to trick or treaters and get Easton in bed right on time at 7! :)

Hope everyone had a great Halloween as well! Here are some pictures from our day!

Drake taking Easton up to the first house!

He was confused by Santa, he kept starring at him! I think he thought he had seen him before! ;) Kidding..

The Royal Family giving out candy! ;)

And Enough of this trick or treat stuff, I am out of here!

Oh wait, they have loli pops around here! ;) I think I will stay around.

Easton's school party!

Me and my boy! :)

Pumpkins for sale..

I think I will just take a seat for a bit..

And last but not least.. Chloe! :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Leila Mae

We Celebrated the life of one of the strongest little girls I have ever met this weekend. Leila may not have spoken actual words but she spoke volumes to many people, and touched the hearts of many in her short time with us.

I don't have words to describe how much I will miss this little one, but I do know that Miss Leila will always be looking over us, and that she is in the arms of our healing father who will keep her safe forever!

Love you Leila Mae and Keep a close watch over your Mommy and Daddy!!

Future Golfer Maybe...

Today Easton and I meet his little friend Drew at the pumpkin patch. We meet Drew about this time last year when we went to story time each day, and a year later we still meet up and play. Last year we just put the two boys up against some pumpkins and snapped some pictures, that was about the extent to the trip to the pumpkin patch.

Today was much different, they were all over the place! But it was so much to see them running around and to see how big they have gotten!

Mr.E is a little Golfer man for Halloween! :)

Loving Halloween..

I have never been a fan of Halloween, dressing up is not my favorite thing to do. However, something crazy has gotten into me lately, and I am loving Halloween!

I think it has to do with Easton, I want to do all the fun Halloween and Pumpkin things with him, and I guess the holiday excitement is contagious, because I have Halloween going on all month.

Easton and I have been making Halloween crafts every afternoon, and I swear he knows what a pumpkin is. If you ask him to go grab his pumpkin, he goes and gets it. ( I had to buy him a little foam pumpkin so he would stop trying to pick my pumpkins up off the front steps! ) He also has a pumpkin book that he loves, but to be honest I am really ready to put it away, if I have to read about Pepper Picking Pumpkins one more time, I am going to go crazy.........

So this weekend to keep with the holiday, my friend Kristin and I planned a date night for our husbands but didn't tell them the plan. We took them to dinner and then let them know they would be going to the Winchester Hunted House! ;) It's a famous Hunted House that people tour year around, but for Halloween they have F.R.I.G.H.T  N.I.G.HT!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yea, it was scary and both of the boys would be lying to you if they said they did not get scared a few times. Neither boy wanted to lead the way, somehow it ended up being Kristin and I, and I can't lie either, I am pretty sure I peed my pants a few times.....SCARY SCARY HOUSE!

Then Saturday bright and early, Kristin and I got up to go do a pumpkin play day for Junior League, of course we had pumpkin spice coffee in hand as well . We had to dress up and all the kiddos were dressed up. It was cute to see all these kids have so much fun and learn at the same time. The kids we were working with, don't get these kinds of treats very often so to see the smile on their faces was the biggest treat of the weekend!

Here are some pictures of our Halloween fun so far, with all the fun, I have yet to put Easton in his costume, minus the day we got it to try it on... so we must get him in that soon!

Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Patch...

This morning I got the whole family in the car, and we headed to Half Moon Bay to the pumpkin patch. I thought I had a brilliant idea of going this weekend, since the festival is next week, and thought the traffic would not be bad and things would not be crowded. Apparently, everyone else had the same "Brilliant idea". It was packed and the traffic to get down the one lane road was terrible.

Lucky for me, once you are on the road you really can't turn around, so Drake had to wait in the line. I am pretty sure that if there was a way to turn around, he would have. :)

The pumpkins and pumpkin patch were great! We rode the trains, fed the goats and picked pumpkins. I tired to put Easton on the pony ride, and he was not having it. He was so scared of the pony, he basically freaked out on me. I felt bad for him. So bad that I tried to put him on it again. :) .. I am a terrible mom! For the record, he was still scared of the pony even after I had him watch other kids get on and have fun.

All in all it ended up being a great day, and now both boys are taking naps! I call that a successful day!

Lots of pumpkins!

This is so much better than the stroller..

This is quite the pumpkin patch I tell you..

Oh wait, I think I see a better pumpkin over there..

Ok Mom, take your picture and leave me alone! He is not as easy to photograph these days!

My boys..

Why, hello there goat! I am not sure if I like you, I am going to stay right here next to my dad for now!

Daddy, please get me out of here! Just thought the picture was sweet!

I will watch the ponies Mom, but I am still not going to ride them!

why hello there..

My family!

Just couldn't resist! The whole train ride he sat with his hands like this! So sweet! Love the little moments!

Finally...

So a few things have finally happened around here, ( These are random I know..).

1) I got my camera back! -- I left it in Austin, so that was not good. My dad shipped it to me, and now I feel like my other half is back! :) So of course I have pictures for you!! All from my sister's Couple Shower that her and Tory had on our last day in Austin. It was a great shower!

2) Does everyone remember the people I talked about who still had their Christmas Lights up and ON at Easter.. well they have finally turned them off and taken them down. I mean at this point, I think they are just crazy.. why leave them up for 10 months, to take them down for 2 months and put them right back up! Clearly I have been stalking the houses down the street! :)

3) I finally finished a full week of work, it had been quite a while. With Easton getting sick, and my trip I just took, I kept missing parts of weeks! It was a long week, but yea for the weekend!

4) It finally cooled off today.. thank goodness, I love summer, but I also love boots and scarfs and would like to start wearing them!

So that is actually all that has happened, my life is not that exciting.. :)

My parents and Easton before we went to my sister's Couple shower on our last day in Texas!

Easton and I before the shower!

Love walking hand and hand with my little man!

Easton with the Bride to be! :)

Showing off her gifts.. she feels blessed by all the wonderful gifts she got!

Sisters...

The happy Couple!

That's it for now.. hope everyone has a great weekend..
