Snow Day...

So even though Atlanta is not prepared for snow and the city has been shut down literally, we are still having fun playing in the snow..

Easton loves the snow, McCoy is not a fan and Chloe won't go outside in it! :) Happy Wednesday!

A cliff note version of my last week..

Last week has been a bit rough over here, so here is a cliff note version of my life.. I promise you one thing, you won't be jealous! :)

Wednesday - Easton gets sick  and I mean throwing up sick, every 30 minutes sick, all night long sick...

Thursday - We can't leave the house because Easton is still sick and so weak, so we didn't get out of our PJ's and I did 101 loads of laundry since Easton managed to mess up pretty much all blankets, sheets, clothes etc that we own.

Friday- McCoy gets sick, and I mean throwing up sick, every 30 minutes sick, all day long sick ...

Saturday - I WANT OUT OF THE HOUSE AND A SHOWER!!! I made it to the gym, but it was quick, because Easton was being whinny in the playarea..

Sunday- Drake gets sick, and I mean throwing up sick, every few hours sick, all day long sick...
*** I now want to run to a far away island away from anyone in my family since all I have done for 4 straight days is clean up after sick people and tend to their every need while they still whine at me. ***

Monday - Thinking we might be ready for a new week.. Chloe gets sick on my carpet.. AWESOME!!!

Tuesday - It's snowing which is cool, but we are stuck inside because they are closing everything, and well I already know what this means for tomorrow. NO SCHOOL! It's not getting above freezing and it's snowing, so I know they will cancel preschool tomorrow!

I will say that I won't complain to much, because I did zone out at the gym the day I made it and happen to be watching good ole Save by the Bell ( in which case I knew all the words to episode I was watching, and was reminded how cheesy and good the show is all at the same time). The episode was one where Zach falls for a girl who is homeless and the whole show talks about homeless people. While watching I was reminded that I could have it a lot worse, at least I have a family in my home to clean up after and take care of, some people would do anything to have a home even if everyone in the home was throwing up all over it! :) So life is not really that bad6

So I tired to keep my head up, and stay positive, since I couldn't have wine or coffee ( I am doing a 21 day detox which neither are apart of clearly) bad timing on my part over here!

Here are a few pictures.. not a lot, I promise there was not much to take pictures of with all the sickness!

These are the sweet moments I cherish of these two!

Easton is sick!

Drake is sick!

Easton didn't like his bed after he got sick in it, so I got him new sheets and told him it was a "new bed" and he was ok with that and asked if McCoy could sleep with him! Cute huh! :)

It's snowing! :)

Easton likes to climb in bed with McCoy!

He helps McCoy with his bottles.. He is actually really liking McCoy these days!

Two Sundays ago, McCoy went swimming for the first time!

McCoy can finally swing at the park..

So as I went back through the pictures, most of these are from the week before since we didn't do much last week! :)

Here is to a better week! :)

McCoy Boy...

I had my own little photo shoot with McCoy Boy today! He didn't' really want to have a photo shoot, he kept trying to crawl off or play with Chloe! I managed to get a few shots! :) Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

We are half way there...

To a 1 year old that is..  How is this possible???? My sweet little McCoy has gotten big so fast! We go to his 6 month appointment today, so we will get all his specs today!

However for now this is what this little guy is up to:
- EATING... this boy loves his food! He has had sweet potatoes, Butternut Squash, peas, carrots, and Spinach. All of which he loves, so far he is not turning down any food!
- ROLLING OVER any time you put him down, getting his diaper changed is quite the challenge these days. He won't lay there long enough for you to get it on.
- CRAWLING across the room. He does an army crawl/worm/normal crawl combo but he gets himself anywhere he wants to go. Normally he heads for Easton's toys, which Easton is not a fan of.
- SMILING and HAMMING it up, he just smiles all day and laughs! He loves when Easton actually pays attention to him.
- SITTING UP on his own, and trying to get himself in sitting position on his own, but he ends up in the splits. He still falls over if he gets to playing to hard, but he can sit up for quite a while.
- TEETH... he has two! ;) they are not all the way popped up but have broken through!
- SLEEPING - ALL NIGHT 7-7

So at this moment I think McCoy is just loving life and I am loving my sleep! ;)

While taking pictures, Mr. you know who wanted to photo bomb all my pictures, but I managed to get a half way decent one! ( Ignore Easton's hair.. he needs a haircut really bad)

We still can't believe that McCoy is halfway through his first year, but we are enjoying every moment and have fallen in love with him. I didn't think I could love another child as much as I loved Easton, but it's possible some how! We love you McCoy James and your little personality is just the cutest! ;)

I knew it would happen soon...

A trip to the emergency room that is! I am actually surprised we had made it 2 1/2 years with out stiches, if you know Easton he falls a million times a day since because he apparently doesn't know how to walk, just run!

So this weekend he was jumping/running on the couch and you know what happened next.. yep, he feel and busted his face on the coffee table.

So off to emergency room we went! He was actually such a big boy there, he did everything they asked him too. he even told the Doctor, " I jump on the couch" like he was proud of himself!

Thank goodness Drake was home, he handled it all like a champ, I on the other hand don't do blood and huge open cuts out of my sweet boys chin.

He is totally fine and doing good, hopefully it will scare him enough to stop jumping on the couch..

Stopped crying for a second.

They had toy story going on in the room, so once he got his own bed and his movie, life was better!

Seven stiches later! ;) He was showing me!

And our other little guy had a pretty good little weekend! He got a new highchair, that he loves! Did I mention he loves food too! :)

It's so cold here, so Drake bundled McCoy up to go walk Chloe! How cute are my boys! :)

I know you have all been waiting...

... for my new years resolution! :)

I have thought long and hard on this, and their are many things that I can improve on, but really most of them required me to give up something that I really just don't want to give up.. like wine and coffee. And with out those, well life would just not be the same!

So for those who know me, you will know this is a more than a perfect resolution for me, and we might call it more of a rule or goal than a resolution..

So drum roll please.............

I vow to not got to TARGET unless I have at least 5 items on my list!

Between my redcard, cartwheel and starbucks inside Target, I find just about any reason to stop in, and then proceed to spend way to much money. So hopefully I will save myself some money, and well hopefully my second son won't also get in the car and start saying " Mom, we going to Target".

Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014

As 2013 comes to a close, there is so much to be thankful. Once again, we have had another eventful year and feel very blessed by the undeserving love God keeps giving us! We hope that everyone has a healthy and happy new year!
