A Day of Big First for Easton..

Today was a big day for Mr. E! We packed up and headed to the city for the first time with Easton. And when I say "packed up", I literally felt like I was packing for a trip. Being gone with a baby for a whole day requires quite a lot of gear and back up stuff for the "just in case" moments.

We meet Kathryn and Ryan in the city. It was so good to see them, we miss them. I was glad that they were able to make time for us on their trip. Easton has no idea how many walks he is missing out on with Kat not close to me. This was Easton's first trip to the city!! However, the city is not stroller friendly!

After lunch with them, I headed over to the stadium to go to the 49er game. I was a bit worried about going to the game with Easton, it is just a lot of work to get all the way to the suite from the parking lot. However, we managed, and Easton was AWESOME at his first football game!! He didn't make one peep, just hung out in every ones arms and took it all in. I have a bad feeling I am going to have a huge problem with Mr. E getting a bit spoiled getting to attend so many football games and on top of that getting to be in a suite. I am going to have explain that it is not normal and he is lucky his daddy has a fun job for him!

This was this morning when I was telling him about his big day ahead! He looks excited right?? :)

Gina and Mr. E at the game!!

Apparently, I was the only that was aware we were taking a picture. My boys were on a different page! :)

Yea he is just living the "suite"life!!

Notice, there is a change of clothes! I will just say, it was a good thing we had "packed" this morning, because we needed out "just in case" outfit! :)

Hope everyone had a great Saturday!!

Summer's over..

Summer is pretty much over, all the fun trips and play times are over. Although I am really looking forward to fall, I think fall might be one of my favorite seasons. I enjoy all the holidays that are ahead and ofcourse football!!! Drake had his first 49er game on Saturday and college football is right around the corner. I have no idea what it is that I love about football season, but just the sound of the cowboys game playing on the TV as I write this makes me happy.

We ended our summer with a bang this last week. My Grandma and Roy came to visit us and to meet Easton last week. It was nice to get to visit with them. Then Friday Easton and I packed up and flew down to Drakes mom's house. She had an end of the summer dance party for all her friends and family. It was a lot of fun and so good to see everyone. I loved watching Easton at one point be surrounded by 9 of his cousins. It was so nice to see all the kids.

Easton did good on his flights and at this point, I think I should just ask if he can have his own frequent flyer card. He has racked in some miles in his short 3 months. The other big news, is that Easton has slept through the night twice!!!! yea yea yea!!

Well we hope everyone has a great week back to school for all of those who start this week, we will be thinking about you!! We love you all!

All ready to go to the airport!!

3 months old..

Well yesterday was a bit of a sad day for Mommy, because I had to move the straps on Easton's car seat up to the next level and take out the padding in the bouncer so we could buckle him in. This only means my little guy is getting bigger on me! :( The only kinda getting bigger that I want, is the kind that results in sleeping through the night and eating on his own!

However, My little E, has been such a fun guy this month. He is all smiles for us all the time!

Ok, mom I get it.. you are going to take a picture of me every month in this dumb chair with these stupid ties! I will smile for you now :)

I think Chloe is pretty cool! She is my buddy!

Life is good!

Don 't even think about taking my things!

Smiling is my new favorite thing!

I liked my pants so much this day, I could not stop staring at them!

Yes, I am advanced! I already read! :)

I love playing with my toys!

3 years ago today...

I married my best Friend....
I am truely blessed to have such a wondeful husband!! I thank the Lord each day that he blessed me with a guy that has more patiance than I could even dream of having, a guy with determination to alway make me happy and tend to my needs and a guy that is not only a wonderful husband but an even better Father. Yep, I am pretty lucky!!

St. Louis...

This past weekend Drake and I went to St. Louis for our good friends Ryan and Lauren's wedding. It was a nice little weekend. We got to see lots of friends from Dallas, enjoy the city and celebrate a great couple with a beautiful and not to mention fun wedding. After the wedding, Drake and I went over the the Budweiser brewery and took a little tour, very cool!! There is a lot of beer in the world!

We left Easton for the first time for 3days with my parents and I am not going to lie, I enjoyed every minute of my break away from our little guy. I did miss his sweet little face especially since he is giving out sweet smiles more frequently these days, but I did not miss my "duties" as a mommy one bit. I enjoyed a full nights rest two nights in a row, and that has not happened since the day he was born. It was wonderful.

However, all is right in the world now, because little miss Chloe and Easton are both home with me now and we are enjoying our little "baby wise" days! :)

Here are some pictures from the wedding..

All 4 guys started working at the RoughRiders way back in the day!

All worked for the RoughRiders and not one person in this picture lives in Texas anymore.. neat to see that we have stayed good friends!

Budweiser tour was great!!
Yep, no pictures of Easton today.. Everyone needs to know we still have a life outside of Easton! :)
