Date Night...

Oh how I wish this post was about a date night for Drake and I, but as most of us know, Football season has started. Football season equals no date nights for us for now. So when I can't have a date, why not let Easton have a date! :)

One of Easton many girlfriends here in the bay area came over last night. I watched both of them while the boys were at a dinner, and it was so fun to watch Easton play with Kenzie. Kenzie is 2 and one of the most verbal girls I have met for her age. She walked in and told me, " Wow you have beautiful toys". haha I thought it was so funny!

The two played all night, and Easton had one pretty bad fall where I thought I might have to take him to the emergency room, but thankfully my doctor talked me through what to do. After it was all over, I had to tell Easton that it is not classy to "fall" on dates, and he better never go on another date that even remotely requires an emergency room visit, for the rest of his life! :)

After a small hiccup in the night, the two decided it was movie and popcorn time. This is how it went over..

Popcorn all over the couch!!

Chloe can't wait for date night again, she loved all the droppings! :)

The two even ended the night with a kiss.. hope you can see the video!!

A day at the Boo... aka at the Zoo...

Today Easton and I met our friends at the Zoo. Easton heard me saying Zoo, and started saying boo all day. I am not sure if I should be worried yet, because he also says Boo in response to, "What sound does a cow make". So for now, I will just take it that he wants to be a ghost for Halloween, and not that he is always missing his first syllablus.

The Happy Hollow Zoo was super fun, it had a petting zoo, rides, a park and lots of areas to have a little picnic. Easton really wanted to ride the Roller Coaster, being that he could not keep his eyes off it, and he just stared at it when it was going. He is to small to ride it, so I felt kinda bad for him, you could tell he didn't understand why he wasn't aloud to go on the ride. I think I need to remind him that he is only 14 months, and that and roller coasters don't go together!

He was able to ride lots of other rides, all by himself too.. So on our way out, I decided that we liked it so much that we are now brand new owners of a year membership to the Zoo. Looks like we will be going a lot! ;)

Easton and his rides...

Easton and his buddy Drew. I love the one of them walking, it looks like they are having a full on conversation

South Korea on my mind...

Today Drake's brother and his family are moving to South Korea to live for 2 years. This is a huge change, but is going to be a wonderful experience for them. I am super happy for them, and hope they have a blast! Everyone say a prayer today as they embark on this adventure! We will miss them, but 2 years will fly by!

Vegas...

So while Easton played at Grammy's House, Drake and I played in Vegas! I had really never been to just play, so we thought why not, lets go before the Football season starts and I pretty much lose my husband! :)

Got to see lots of people while I was there, so that was fun! :) We really enjoyed ourselves, but I will say that I don't need to go back anytime soon! Vegas has way to many half dressed girls walking around, crazy drunk people and people who stay up way to late for me! :) I think might finally realize I am a mom!

The best part of the trip was Friday night, where I got to see, non other than.......

I loved the show, and I love Garth Brooks even more! Drake who doesn't even know a single song, said it was a great show! That is saying something people...

Then Saturday we did a long pool day, and Vegas pools are quite a scene! Drake and I waited in line to go into some club liquid pool! I really just wanted to see the scene, it was a bit crazy..
I forgot to take a picture when it got crazy, this was early! .. but please look at the random girl dancing on the box that had to do that in her swim suit for hours!

All in all Vegas was a great weekend, just wish I had better pictures, but Drake told me it wasn't cool to carry around my big camera.. I kinda agreed!

Grammy's House...

Easton and I headed down to Drake's moms house to play with everyone! It was so much fun! There are always people around and little kiddos so it is always a good time!

There are a lot of pictures so here we go! ;)

Sisters looking good in their new swim suits! :)

Colleen and Easton playing in the pool!

Typical Easton!
One day Drake's sister and I took the kiddos to this place called "Pretend City"! It was so fun, the literally have a little city that is all miniature for kiddos to just go around do all kinds of things! Little Grocery stores, gas stations, fire stations, libraries, post offices, doctor offices, and even the cutest little Japanese sushi restaurant! It was so fun!
Easton on stage!

At the beach ( pretend)

Riley at the beach!

Hot babes!

Fishing and playing in the water!

Happy Boy!

This is one way to get around!

Riley loved painting, even her hair!

My favorite! Riley was checking Easton's heart beat!

Easton checking on some xrays!

Or maybe he will be a dentist one day.. who knows! :)

It's getting close to nap time...

Easton doing some grocery shopping..

Now he is doing some construction.. he can do it all!

A Nice Little Weekend..

My friend Kristin from Dallas came town and we had a fun filled weekend..

Friday...

We biked 22 miles around the city! We started in the Warf, went over the Golden Gate, then had a short stop for a drink in Sausalito, continued up to Muir Woods and then on over to Tiburon, where of course we stopped at Sam's for a another drink. We ended up taking the ferry back over to the Warf, and all that to say we were gone fro over 6 hours. Tired would have been an understatement! :)

Saturday...

We went for a nice 5 mile run on the Los Gatos Trail and then headed to Capitola for a day of sun on the beach! It was so nice out. We ended our day in Los Gatos at Cin Cin!! Nice little day!

Sunday...

We headed to Half Moon Bay and had lunch at the Ritz, where as always you are guaranteed a beautiful view!!

As for my little man, he had a good weekend too! He got a treat before Kristin came in since I knew I wouldn't get to see him much over the weekend. A little ice cream always wins their hearts! :)

4th of July in Tahoe..

We just spent the last week up in South Lake Tahoe. We are lucky enough to get to go up to Drake's moms house and enjoy a week of fun with the whole family. It is always good to see all of Drake's family, which consist of 8 brother and sisters, including him, and their spouses along with 22 grand kids ( I think that is the right number, I can't keep track). Most people made it up for the week so it was a great time.

I think I enjoyed watching Easton run around and play with his cousins more than anything. Watching him just have fun and run around with a bunch of family made me realize what life is really all about. It is simply all we need! I look forward to the many years ahead of watching these kiddos grow up together!

Here are some pictures from the week:

Baby Madison!

Riley found some reading glasses!

Will and Easton

Sam teaching Stella and Riley how to throw rocks!

Try to get three babies to smile and look at the camera at once! :)

Really Could Riley be sweeter! :)

I promise I won't touch the wheel! :)

Well just one touch won't hurt!
