Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving! This year we have so much to be thankful for. What I am most thankful for today, is that my family of four is all together and settled in our new home. After 2 long months of craziness, we are very happy to have not a lot to do today, and some time to just hang out as a family!

Since I am thankful for my new home today, I thought it was time to show some pictures.. I am really in love with this place and it turned out just how I wanted! :)
Our main floor! :)

Kitchen!

My favorite part of the whole house!

Just a little side part of the master.. just kinda making due with what we have for now!

Boys Bathroom!

My favorite part about their bathroom is their pictures! :)

McCoy's room!

In case your wondering, McCoy is asleep in the bed in this picture! :)

Christmas Tree Lightening...

When we moved here, I knew we needed some things to do, so what do you think I did. Yep, I googled events in the Atlantic Area, and Drake would die if he saw my calendar I filled up with things for us to go do around town. I think it will be a good way to check out all the different parts of town!

So starting us off, tonight we went down to Atlantic Station to watch the Christmas Tree lightening! I loved the area, it was so cute and I will definitely be back for some shopping.

The tree lightening was fun, and was followed up with a pretty good fire show and some snow! :)  Easton loved Santa, and called for him as he went by in parade! McCoy LOVED the fireworks, and well Easton cried when he saw the fireworks! :) Apparently, since July Easton has become afraid of fireworks. He asked us to go inside and go home through the sobs of tears he had going on. He was a mess.

Short story of the night, Toddlers should not be taken out of the house! :) .. Easton was more than a handful, but we made it threw the night, not sure Drake is going to be up for all the events I have on my calendar!

Oh and while Drake was chasing Easton, I was following with my camera, that's normal right???? So here is what I got!
Grandma Maggie with her boys before we got ready to go!

Awe!

McCoy sure does look like a Salley!

Christmas Tree Time..

So hard to get kids to look and smile at a camera..

Best part of this pictures is the random kid smiling for the picture..

Cute little ice skating rink in the middle of the shopping area..

We were in the Sleigh, and apparently McCoy was in his own world..

This child stopped for one second, literally

Hi McCoy...

I think every tree lighting needs fireworks... Loved it! :)

Has a very satisfied  look here.. :) He approved of the tree lighting, and says we will be back next year!

Santa Hat Fun...

Today I may or may not have put up my Christmas tree! :) ahhh.. I know it's not even thanksgiving yet, but my mom is in town and well she is really good at decorating Christmas trees! So my trees went up today! :) Done deal!

While she was working hard, the boys and I were playing with Santa hats! McCoy was all smiles and then Easton wanted treats in return for smiles! So we made a deal! He got some treats after his half smiles I got!

My mom did a great job on the Christmas tree in the boys playroom, however Easton loved it so much, he decided to knock it over twice now! Yes, you read that right.. it was flat on the ground when we came back downstairs! This boy is already on the naughty list!

We are getting already for Christmas around here! :)

McCoy is 4 months..

How another month has gone by, I am really not sure! My little man is growing like a weed! Little might not be the best word to describe him, he is currently rocking 6 month clothes and some 9 months! I have a feeling BIG is a great way to describe him, because from what I see shining through is a BIG heart that loves his mommy, and being held for that matter and a BIG ole smile that he shows off all day long! He is a sweet loving little boy and melts my heart daily!

Don't think I am crazy...

The following was totally unplanned, I swear!

So I ran to the mall yesterday, and saw that Santa was all set up. I have been talking to Easton about Santa a lot, in hopes that he will understand this year. Much to my surprise, I think he understands. He has told me multiple times that he would like a Buzz Lightyear for Christmas. I didn't think he would remember, but each time you ask him what he wants from Santa, you will get the same response, a Buzz Lightyear.

So back at the mall, I show him Santa who, YES is already out! He immediately says, "Santa". Santa waves him over since no one is around, and I am pretty sure he is bored of just sitting there. I let Easton out and I am not lying when I saw he ran over there and jumped right into his lap! I couldn't believe it. Click here to see last year, and the fear the kid had in his face!

So Santa starts in on "what would you like for Christmas young man", and what does Easton say,  non other than "Buzz Lightyear". I loved every minute of it!

I then grabbed McCoy and threw him in Santa's lap, the lady snapped a few pictures for me and just like that we have seen Santa and it is not even halfway through November yet!

I am actually pretty happy with my pictures, and think that they turned out a bit better than if I would have made them stand in lines and have all the other people watching. I guess sometimes spontaneous things are for the best!

( Proof I didn't plan it, they do not have on cute little Christmas outfits, which I clearly would have dressed them in! )

I saved the best for last! How cute is Mr. McCoy here, love that boy! Now I do have to put a disclaimer on this post, Seeing Santa will be a lot like my pumpkin patch fetish, there will be many Santa visits! :) I love this time of year!
