Summer is here...

With last week being the last day of school for Easton and this weekend being Memorial Day, we are feeling like we are in full summer mode! :) I am loving the warmer weather, the later nights and the smiles and memories that summer time can bring!

Tuesday was the last day of school and Drake was out of town so we needed to find some entertainment..

So we went to the Aquarium.. 

Another night, I took the boys to get dinner, which I must note that the place was having a special, half price wine bottles!!  The lady asked me if I would like a bottle, and I kinda looked at her like , ?well its just me and these two kids", and by the end of the conversation I had ordered the full bottle! :) So 2 kids + 1 Adult = 1 bottle of wine.. ( Don't worry I had a class and was able to take the bottle home, I didn't have it all and drive home! :) )  So since I got a treat, I figured we would walk across the street for a treat for the boys.. they loved the ice cream! 

Saturday we went to Lake Lanier for the Day and spent the night at the resort! We did the water park on Saturday and the pool on Sunday!

My little man loved the water park just as much as his big brother! 

Easton is too cool for school and well McCoy is just pure sweetness! :)

Monday: We didn't think we had gotten enough water time so we went to a friends pool! :) These boys have it rough over here...

Airplane Park Birthday Party..

Yes, I promise this is the last post about Easton's Birthday! I too am over his birthday, he on the other hand thinks you now spend a whole week celebrating his birthday.. which of course on certain Big  birthdays, that is totally acceptable, but I would not put 3 in that category!

Today was Easton's birthday party with "his people"! He told me he was happy all his people were there, aka friends! :) lol..

This was a fun party for me to watch as well, because it was really his first birthday party with actually friends or kids! Normally all the parties we have had, have really been parties for Drake and I! ;) It was fun to watch all the kids run around, talk to each other, and interact! They are just so cute at this age and say the funniest things to each other!

He had a great time and loved a second round of cake of course! It was a fun day, and to see his smile on his face as he ran around with his friends, simply warms my hearts!

Family Birthday Party...

We had Easton's Family Birthday Party today! This year Easton is getting extra lucky and getting two parties.. Yes, I know I am crazy! :)


We did a small family BBQ today just at the house! Then Tuesday we are doing a kid birthday party at the park. We just got lucky this year and now we live close to some family on both sides, so it was extra special to get to celebrate with them too!


Here are some pictures, and well I must tell you how amazing my mom is, because she did the decorations for the whole party! :) My mom is so wonderful, and sent me every last bit of this stuff and well it is pretty dang cute if you ask me! Thank you mom!

Little Man is 10 months..

Our little man is 10 months old, which seems crazy! This month our man got some new shoes, which are helping him with his balance a lot more. His feet turn in pretty bad, and we went to a specialist for them. The doctor said it was "Some Long Medical Term" and its very common, and that it will fix itself. Till then, he said he would need more supportive shoes, so no cute little toms, or converses! :( .. To Stride Rite I went, and got him the coolest ones I could find in his size. To this day, he has not ONCE been able to get the shoes off. All other shoes he could get off in 2 seconds flat.

So now my little man is standing on his own for 20 seconds or so and when you hold him he will walk anywhere. He will walk toys and chairs across a room, but needs the toy for support! So I think he will be close to walking on his own soon!

Other than getting him some nice new shoes, which for the record cost more than my own sandals, McCoy is just loving life and is a happy little guy!

Happy 3rd Birthday...

Happy Birthday Easton Thomas. I can't believe you are 3. We love you so very much and you bring so much joy to our life's. Each day is truly an adventure with you! Thank you for teaching me lessons daily and for giving me purpose in this world. Hope you have a wonderful 3rd Birthday!
